Matthew 25:31-46

Notice how God feels OUR pain, hunger cold sickness and emotional distress.

But my favorite passage on the subject is
Genesis 21
Abraham is about to learn what God must do to save mankind.
He is told kill his only son as a sacrifice.
Just as God the Father must also cause God the Son to suffer and die.

Although Abraham believes that God has the able to bring Isaac back to life, Isaac will not understand.

And although God can bring Jesus back to life He will not understand at His death.

Jesus indicated this with the words “my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

So the question is this,

Who suffered more?

The son or the father?

or

The Son or the Father?

There are levels of distress that only God feels, because only God cares so deeply.

Duane
