the quote is from the Book of Job concerning the Pleades and Orion. Chck a concordance for the chapter and verse but it is some where between chapters 30 and 38 I think.
As concerning thier movement or lack there of, those stars and most if not all stars are several in not thousands of light years apart. I'm sure they are moving just like eveything else in the universe.
