But I can hazard a guess.
Contact a school or a govt aganecy that has a large telesocpe like Mt. Palamar(spelling?) or a simular observatory with a web search on MSN or Yahoo or google.
There might not be any "forces" at work in Orion beside the natural one of gravitation and inertia. Its probably just the way those stars are related to each other that "holds" them the way they are: like the way planets revolve around a star, they just do what they do by laws of nature.
