When Christians of old came upon the African Diety Leghba they soon realized Leghba, the God of the Crossroads, was the Christian Satan. Leghba, Satan, was like a poweful probability field which entered into people and the people lost memory while this Leghba possessed them and Leghba accentuated each person like a pesonality magnification, only the deteriorating aspects: the ego, the power hunger.
Luckily, thanks to God and God`s human helpers over the past decade, Leghba is locked up in subatomic probability fields without access to human consciousness anymore. But of course with this all the spirits, good and bad, angels and demons, past lives and souls, all have been filed away by god. There is no more satan.
And the devil was one of these spirits which became a human for awhile, different from Leghba/Satan, but he too is done.
