Most wars are started by political groups. Know some may have a religious back ground, but the real question is how much do the Political leaders use a cultures religion to act some one else. Rarely is it that religion it self cause wars, though the Indian Pakistan confilct is a good example of when religion is a major part of the conflict. (Though politcaly the very land it self is important too, and yes I understand the land is also the reason that the religions are fighting as well.)

"Religion is by definition more conservative."

What? That is just plain wrong, there are any left to extreme left religions out there. (Such as some pagan religions) So to blantitly say that all religions are more conservitive is just plain wrong.

God Bless,
-Aaron
