Why don't we make the assailants at least 15 in number, have them take a whole building hostage, and 'you' escape to the higher floors where you have the opportunity to give yourself up, or watch the hostages die because you won't give up. Sounds like something you saw at the movies? It's DieHard. So much for philosophical way out-ness. The movie and its sequels did pretty well at the box office.
