Hi Mario,

Well, I do like to stir a little controversy anyway that I can.

***It orbits the sun simply because of the laws of gravity, electromagnetism, etc., built into the universe.***

The 'laws of gravity' might not be so simple as to exist by themselves. My view has always been that these laws are approximations of God's will in the universe, and this will not only caused the material universe, it also continues to cause (either directly or indirectly) each and every event in the world (i.e., God sustains the existence of the world. Without God (an impossibility, I think), the world would not exist.

Warm regards, Harv
