I like Bushes plan. After all the "enviromentalists" aren't helping the enviroment, in fact they are hurting it. Dead wood is a problem and what is the harm of letting loggers clear it out? It's dead!!! Also when one looks at forest levels it is clear that there are more forests in america now than there were before. It's amazing what loggers do. They come in take trees down and then plant new one ones. Trees are a crop, just like corn.
