Dear Alex,
Please know I don't blame you for serious logical fallacies in Communist "science."
They come from corruption which comes from
being second best with facts, maybe -- not the Communists per se, but anyone tempted with the chance to prosper through short-cutting the facts, either in Communism or Free Enterprise.
At least with free enterprise, if the boss is
a genocidal maniac, a person can change jobs.

I'm glossing over the population arithmetic problem we were discussing...don't want to focus on it.

Famous author
Charles Dickens wrote the following:
"Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them." -- attributed to Mr. Gradgrind
in _Hard Times_

The problem is, if you build a society around fact-science, the apparent control of facts creates Political Power even better than
actual control of facts, since cheaters can finish their project before honest fact- workers, and concentrate on spin. This is a universal and seemingly unavoidable problem which I hope we some day can alleviate. Until then, we cannot have a monolithic fact-science-government,
no matter how accomodating of our delusions and emotional crutches.

I'm sorry if this fails to make sense to you.
