Are Gods Always Behind Humans In Technical Revolution?

Yesterday's gods were using general relativity to bend space closer to their trone, and today they start learning about quantum non-locality from popular magazines and try to think how to use it in order to gain more control of world (which does not go by their will, but strictly by logical mathematical rules which we happen to historically call natural laws). Despite, by the way, the fact that non-locality strictly obeys Heizenberg uncertainty.

Are those Santa-gods always behind each and every civilization in Milky Way? Or they read human popular literature only, and do not pay attention to more advanced civilizations around because humans are probably the last left to be fooled easily (due to poor education in US)?

And why some humans have ignorance so great that they deny the fact that EVERYTHING in universe goes by itself, strictly as math prescribes without any need of any Santa? Or they simply do not know that yet (despite that physics textbooks are full of explanations). Well, why don't they take some classes then to educate themselves BEFORE they say something stupid about nature (like gods controlling every molecule and every cell)?

Or are we (well, some of us) growing yet and thus still NEED those Santas - as 4-year child who does not know where toys come from needs Santa to explain that phenomenon and also "just to feel better"?
