I have had a bunch of fun using my new Tasco 114 and I have gotten over the stigma of having a Tasco once i read that it is pretty much identical to the Celestron 114. I am able to see some cloud bands on jupiter as well as Saturns rings. Both plantets appear to be black and white. Is that right? How much detail should I be seeing. I have a 20mm, 10mm and a 7.5mm eypiece aliong with a 2x shorty barlow. I can never seem to get more than the two big cloud bands on Jupiter. I am also having mounds of touble aligining the scope. I did find a good sight to help me with that alothough now it has been cloudy for the last two days and won't clear up until Saturday. What other objects should I be able to see well with this scope? Anything deep space?
