I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains, at Lake Tahoe, and am awaiting delivery of my new Meade 12" LX200 GPS telescope. The scope comes with a 26mm 1.25" SuperPlossl. Since I live at around 7000 ft ASL, the night sky is almost always either perfectly clear, or completely obscured by clouds. We very rarely have any kind of haze, fog, etc. There is no light pollution, except for the Moon.
