I have a simple 60x700mm refractor. It does okay on the moon and planets, I am getting a 25mm 1.25 eyepiece for it and a diagonal. I am not ready to make the step up to something nice right now. I guess it is what you expect. I went into it expecting zip...from what I read here and other places, but was amazed last week when I saw the rings of saturn with the 12.5 ep that came with it. I had to make a homemade extension tube to get it to focus, the diagonal got lost before I got it. I am going to try it out on the Orion Nebula when the moons gets to half or so. What are you selling your refactor for. You can the observation report on this site for when I saw Saturn.
