The Meade 4000 series plossls (32mm) is a good wide scan eyepiece. Orion has their version which is OK, but cheaper. The only reason I do not use Meade EP's is because most of the ones I got, the filters wouldn't thread correctly. I found this to be true 2 out of 3 I tried. I returned a whole Meade EP set for that very reason. I do not know if that problem is still around since I haven't used a Meade EP for 2 years. Good Luck!!
