Weinberg:
"With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion".

A wonderful statement. A perfect example of how a good arrangement of words in a sentence can really make one 'feel' the meaning inherent in the words.

They say that there is a certain piece of hair belonging to Muhammad in Kashmir. It is placed at a place called 'durga hazarat bul'. India has committed some attrocities regarding the people of the corresponding area in the last decade.

I was wondering if that piece of hair could be analysed for determining the genetic makeup of Muhammad utilizing the information present in the proteins that constitute structures like hair!

Anyway, I hope that everybody here, in this forum, agrees to the idea that any religion in the modern world is inadequate to meet the social and scientific needs of individuals and societies. Am I right?
In fact, the word 'religion' i.e., a system of beliefs in the supernatural is a relic from antiquity portraying that Homo sapiens is a species that likes adventure and excitement. This adventure and excitement drove him once to hypothesize existence of things beyond the fairly natural life and existence.

Yasir.
