Thats right in space though two or four or eight and so on and so on would not apply any pressure upon a growing mass because they are at any time the same size and applying a push you push me effect especially as they form a sphere .

So two astronauts in space being of equal size cannot apply a pressure upon another else they would both move apart , they just simply touch to balance the law , and is what happens in a growing mass , especially as it is cold freezing hydrogen , no friction not ignition , the pressure comes after when the mass has been ignited , it makes the core contract creating a density and this is where I believe the missing dark matter is hidden because if I recall stars are calculated by the spectrum but correct me on that as I cannot be sure .

In reality this is the very reason why binary stars of equal size would waltz with eachother.
