: Any form of time travel MUST be a normal procession through time, obviously, otherwise we would be defying the laws of nature, If you are saying that Time Travel must be some wierd law breaking exception, then I agree that this is impossible. If we can find ways to travel through time, within the laws of physics/nature/God, then I believe you would automatically not call this time travel, as your definition of Time travel appears to be "something that is impossible" therefore anything that can happen, must not be called time travel to you.

You cannot travel to "the past", it doesn't exist any more.

You cannot travel to "the future" (in any other way than you are right now that is) it doesn't exist yet.

Thus, time travel is impossible.

How is travel in any other manner than described above, i.e. to anywhere/when other than the past or future, "Time Travel"?

How can "Time Travel" be anything other than travel to some OTHER time?

Yup, I say this is impossible.

If we "travel" to the future as a result of being alive and noticing it, why bother calling it time travel. It's a normal function of life itself.
