Geller Of Harverd Has The Best Galaxy Maps

What interestd me when she first published them is that the distribution of galaxies looked like a picture of Shiva with four arms. I suspect that this was pointed out to her as subsequent publications of these maps, rather different slices of the map, ommitted that peculiar one.

The Great Attractor appears to be the so-called Shiva super cluster in these maps. It is definitely not in our galaxy as the mean velocity of all the galaxies in our local cluster points away from our galaxy.
