Universe Is Rather Uniform.

They are distributed very uniformly (on a large scale). All voids, clumps, etc fill universe very regurarly - there is no much deviation from homogenious distribution of matter on a large scale. On a small scale you have galaxies, stars- non homegenuity due to gravity.

By the way, observed homogenuity of Universe is another evidence for having no edges or centers - certainly if we were to have edges, density of Universe should change as you approach them. But it does not. Thus Universe is either infinite of symmetrically closed.
