Just Look At The Pictures

I do not know how they can make such a bold statement when the pictures of the known universe, for example those published by Geller, are anything but homogeneous. The only evidence I know of for a fairly uniform universe is the COBE data. That just says the the universe was quite uniform 100,000 years after the big bang, but before star formation.

The known universe, the universe that we can see, is quite inhomogeneous on every scale, from our local solar system to the recent x-ray data that goes out 12 billion light-years.

The general relativists like to claim a uniform universe because it's the only one they can solve. That does not mean that it's true.
