another interesting physical phenomenon to be sure... i noted in one of your posts that you have considered the physics of consiousness. i think it was Wheeler (or maybe someone else) that made the interesting point that through people the universe is able to examine it's self.
another group has been examining the possibility that our thinking process and consiousness is the result of quantum computing going on in our brains. i like the idea of quantum effects having essence in thinking and consiousness since it holds out the possibity for us of having true autonomy of thought and action rather than some kind of cog and wheel process that is dictated by some preordained fate. nothing like uncertainty gives one a chance to choose a course of action.
