Hi everyone, this is my first post here.
I have just got into astronomy and already got the apeture fever :D.
I plan to build a dobsonian, I want to build the 10 inch.
Of course, budget is always a limitation. I came across 10" mirror for about $300 some where in Canada, and also 10" from University Optics that cost about $500. By comparing only he price, some other Mirror maker sell their 10" for about $1200. I know I'll get only with what I paid however has any one have any experience with Univeristy Optics Mirror ? They claim that

"Ml mirrors are the optimal 1:6 thickness ratio and are made of Pyrex brand glass. All have enhanced aluminum coatings (94%) and have a 1/10 wave surface."

Is it good enough to begin with ? I don't want my first project to fail because of the mirror.

Thanks alot in advance !
