I am new to telescope building and I was wondering if somebody could tell me if the following dimensions are OK for a 8 inch f/6 Newtonian Reflector.(I have used Newt version 2.5 to get these diemensions.)

All Dimensions in Inches

Primary Dia: 8
Focal Length: 48
Focal Ratio: f/6
Tube Inside Dia: 9.5
Tube Thickness: 0.125
Focuser Height: 3.0
Focuser Inside Dia.:1.25
Focuser Extra Travel 0.25
Diagonal Minor Axis:1.57
Diagonal Offset: 0.0654
100% Illum. Dia:0.2598
75% Illum. Dia:0.9799
Front Aperture Dia:8.8873
Mirror Face To Focuser Hole: 39.875
Focuser to Front End of Tube: 4.0
Mirror Face to Back of Tube: 2.5
Tube Length: 46.375

If I understand Newt correctly, then this design should be OK, but I thought that it would be best if I checked with the experts first.

Thanks
Andy
