Suggestion?

After running thru the figures in Newt a bit I got around 0,5 degres with the low profile focuser from JmI allthough I had to guess the spare focuser in travel to about 1,5" (is this correct?)and the height to 1.75". This was with the use of a 2.14" diagonal. I've been looking around and the next step seems to be 2.38" or 2.4" and that feels like a little bit to much? What size would you recomend me? And where should I get the mirror? I'm allso looking for a not to expensive mirrorholder and spider for the diagonal as well as some eyepieces. I've heard alot about the celeron/vixen zoom LV 8-24mm eypiece. Do you think it's any good? The best places I've discovered so far are university optics (cheap spider) and pocono. I'd appreciate any other suggestions. |
