I hear you.

I suppose all Ha filters really need to be tunable anyway. I have never heard of a decent solid state one which I suppose is what you are talking about.

I haven't personally made a mirror smaller than 10" in 20 years. I could not get anybody to handle my full thickness 22" for coating when I made it 21 years ago. I have always needed a coater with my own hobby work and the help I volunteer to scouts and other students.
