RICK,
THESE FILTERS ARE ALL OPTICAL AND THE FINE TUNING
IS ACCOMPLISHED BY HEATING THE FILTERS TO 300-550
CELCIUS. THE PROPER MATERIALS MUST BE USED. THE
HEAT CAUSES A BREAKDOWN TOF THE CRYSTALLINE
STRUCTURE PRODUCING DENSIFICATION LEADING TO
LOWERING OF THE REFERENCE WAVELENGTH. THE COATINGS
ARE DELIBERATLY MADE TOO THICK BY ABOUT 40nm.
I FOUND MAXIMUM SHIFT TO BE ABOUT 60nm, OF COURSE
ALWAYS TO THE LEFT OR SHORTER WAVELENGTH. I HOPE
