Cutting Circles

What is the best way to cut circles out of wood for the mirror cell etc. I have read in The Dobsonian Telescope book to use a router and screw the piece of wood to your workbench top, but wouldn`t you end up cutting in to your work bench on the final pass of the router? I must be missing something. Also, has anyone used a Rotozip instead of a router to cut circles? Thanks. |
