The following quote was taken from the Frasier TV show, aired on March 6th, 2001. Former astronaut and Senator, John Glenn said:

"Back in those glory days, I was very uncomfortable when they asked us to say things that I didn't want to say, and deny other things. Some people asked, you know, "Were you alone out there?" We never gave the real answer. And yet, we've seen things out there, strange things. But, we know what we saw out there and we couldn't really say anything. The bosses were really afraid of this, they were afraid of the War of the Worlds type stuff and about panic in the streets. So, we had to keep quiet. And now, we only see these things in our nightmares ... or maybe in the movies, and some of them are pretty close to being the truth ..."

Why would a Senator and Former Astronaut who's been up again in space a second time on the space shuttle allow his script on a television program to make a mockery of what he had put his life on the line for, and his respect as a Senator, if it were not true?

Is this some way Glenn chose to reveal the Truth to the world in a safe manner where he would not be blamed by the establishment and it could easily be brushed aside as a scripting hoax, unless your paying attention?

What are your thoughts?

The conversation occured while Glenn, playing himself was "ON AIR" on Frasier's radio program and Frasier and Roz were arguing in the booth.
