Just got in from viewing. Started about 9:30 and went for about 45 minutes. It was cold, about 25 degrees.

Had a good view of Saturn and Jupiter, though not as good as 2/11's view. I had Saturn in the 4mm again and also with the 20mm and the 3x barlow. Both were a bit hazy, while the 20mm w/barlow was clearer. The image would blur and than clear up. Could be the result of haze or clouds etc....

Jupiter was very bright, but it was so high when I got to it that I had trouble keeping the planet in the scope.

I noticed that even with the eq stand when an object is high in the sky ie almost straight over head I have a problem keeping that object in view.
Does anyone have a suggestion. Am I doing something wrong or not using the eq stand correctly.

At any rate it was another good night....
