very complete report, the northern lights up here in north jersey were spectacular, we watched them for almost an hour. spread out from cassiopia to arcturas, blues, reds, greens and yellows. the 0III filter you were using was that on your lx200. I was told that they were next to useless on a scope with that type of f-ratio. if this information is not correct Ill have to invest in one.
