( i posted this message yesterday, but it appears to have been removed, no idea why?) 2 questions(and i know there very amateur questions, so i appologise if they're obvious answers)
how do you calculate the magnification of a telescope? i thought it was lens diameter/eyepiece diameter, but have been told its more complex than that.
and i recently bought a etx-90EC, but it only came with the standard 26mm eyepiece, what eyepiece would people recomend for a good magnification(say good enough to see saturn reasonably well) aswell as it not being too hard to align?
thanks in advance for any replies, much appreciated.
