Mark, the drive on the LX10 is simple DC motor. I am not sure what the current rating is but I would suspect it is in the order of 1 amp. To see exactly what is being drawn disconnect one of the legs of the battery circuit and put a multimeter in series set to the current range. Switch on the RA drive and check the current.It is a simple matter of purchasing a power supply unit that provides 9V DC at that current rating.
