You mentioned that the star diagonal that comes with the telescope is "cheap", for lack of a clean four letter word. To be honest, I'm not sure what a star diagonal even is (grin). Could you explain this to me?

Another question, more for my own curiosity than anything, I've seen and read things about people owning huge reflectors, like 25"+. Are these leviathans available for sale, or do people have to build scopes like this?

Since I'll probably never own that mountain in Arizona, 16" will probably be about my limit for obvious transportability issues, unless I move to the boonies after I retire, which is about 30 years away for me. :(
