I recently posted that I am going to purchase a 12" LX200GPS in the near future. As everyone knows, Meade offers the "UHTC" coatings for and addition $300. I have been kicking around the idea of opting for these coating but I'm unsure if they are really worth the extra $$. Has anyone viewed a telescope using these coatings vs the same telescope without? How much of a difference do they make?
