Hi Forrest;

Remember me from the Starry night list? I just posted the 12" LX200 GPS mini review below your post. I just got my 12" GPS last week, and it's a beautiful piece of equipment. After using it, I don't understand why anyone would need to add a wedge. It tracks objects perfectly all by itself. So if I'm correct, there's a few $'s saved. It is rather heavy though, and I too have a back problem, but I don't plan on moving it anywhere, but from my living room, out to the deck, and I built a dolly that makes that very easy. I'm still new to computerized scopes and fairly new to astronomy, so as far as suggestions, listen to Bob Sal and the others.

Good to hear from you again.
