thanks for the tips (and the inspiration! :) )
I'll post results as soon as it gets a little warmer than 32 degrees in Dallas. :)

I have 1 question. So say I find the circlets of pisces. I can see which WAY M31 is, for example. How do I know how MUCH to SLEW the telescope uing the chart? the chart has all these greek numbers etc. But no scale. Am I just looking at the wrong chart? is there one online that gives distances in telescope terms?
