Why don't you use it manually till you get it working. Is this the ETX 90 or 125. This is why new observers should not get goto telescopes. You've spent more time getting frustrated than observing. Use it manually for a while. Learn the sky. Get a star chart and star hope to the Andromeda Galaxy and any other Merrier (M) object. All 110 Messiers are visible in the ETX90. These's a web sight you can go to for help with Meade Equipment. WWW.MAYPUG.COM you should be able to find out what your doing wrong there. In the mean time, forget the goto, point it at some stuff yourself, get busy, try to have some fun with it.
