:One would guess that the traditional view of God would be that of a supreme being. Nearly all modern religions hold that God is a being that's all-knowing, all-loving, as well as all-powerful. However, you pose an interesting point. It seems very evident to atheist such as myself that the concept of God is merely that of a magnified man. For instance, many theists see life as a test, with the ultimate goal being that of entering heaven. But, why would an all-knowing being need to devise any type of test if he already knows how you're going to turn out? He's all-knowing. Such testing seems inconsistent for an omnipotent deity. However, humans run tests and experiment all the time.
