Allah's commands come from many sources:
Noah, Abraham, Moses, the Prophets, Jesus, Buddha andmany more. These commands are often in conflict. What gives us the right to claim that one particular set of commands are better than others.

Well, we have the right because we are thinking people. We can decide if life takes priority over law. We can decide if investigation and research should be condemned. And we can decide to ignore scientific truth. My belief is that god has arranged it so that humans by each following their own hearts will arrive at a huge diversity of beliefs and actions all the way from atheism to submission. I do not know why. But I know I like it. I like it when each individual gets to make up his or her own mind as to what is believed. And I think god likes it that way also. Afterall if god exists, then god is responsible for it all.
