The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone The Prophet said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah).


Here is the key words

"to join none in worship with Him (Allah)."

It seems to be saying that you or we should not worship together. This consistent with the message of Christ that we should worship in a closet. So public worship is seemingly forbidden in both Islam and Christianity.

What do the church and mosque goers think of that?
