: God's Will "will" Be Done, because God has arranged this Universe so that His Will has the final say in what will be done. It is not His Will that we choose to serve Him, rather it is His Will for us that our will be done. His Will being done is assured, so it is His Will to see if our will is in accord with His. We are enveloped in a Universe of God's Truth, it is His Creation, so everything of Nature abides by His Will. Only Self-Awareness is blessed with the Gift of Free-Will. Everything outside the influence of the Free-Will of the Self-Awareness born of Creation is Predetermined, by the Laws of Physics, which are incontrovertible. WithiN the limits of those Laws, we are Free to serve ourselves to whatever degree we chose, but if the effect of our choices is detrimental to welfare of Life or Creation, then that results in negative reinforcement in return from Nature. If the effects of our influence is beneficial to Life or Creation, then that results in positive feedback from Nature. So God has arranged it so that we, as a species, do His Will, or we, as a species, suffer the consequences. We have Free-Will, but God Will Be God, and so it is in service to one another and to the other Life that we share this world with, that our service to Him is best accomplished.

RD: Greg, does that mean that Texas is suffering the consequences of not following God's will when it gets hit with disasterous weather? Can we use natural and possible even man-made disasters such as Columbine to judge the compliance of regions of the country or individual cities as to whether they follow God's will? Personally, since I live in Boston which has seemed to have avoided all disasters for some time now, I am partial to such thinking.
