Richard,

I will tell you the same thing I told Alex:

"If you don't think h bar is circularly defined, go take a look at the book "Mr Tompkins goes to Quantum Land" (which is clearly erroneous) and then try to describe a world where h bar has a value a million times larger and everythine else you know about physics is correct!"

Just atempt to correct the errors in the Mr Tompkins book! You know, solve the hydrogen atom to get a valid definition of your time scale. Make sure your molecular sizes reflect the correct (new value) of h bar. Consider chemistry and the structure of chain molecules. That is, start building structures with the new elements you have caluclated and come up with a rational discription of Mr Tompkins world where all the physics is correct. Make sure his brain has a reasonable number of cells of a rational size to plan his trip. Then tell me exactly what the world would look like if h bar were a million times its current accepted value.
