Well, if you read the bible, or even what jesuschrist preached, you would know that material things including money, fame, popularity, etc are against the bible's beliefs. If you pray to win the lotery, you won't win. If you pray for food, you will get food and water.

Read the bible and you'll understand if you pay attention to it, and not just rush through it.
