I had a friend ask me this question. If there is no god, then what makes things live? What laws of physics make organisms reproduce and thrive for life? Why do ants in an ant colony work so hard at living, why don't they just give up and croak? Why do all the species on this earth do the things they do? If a big explosion caused this then I'm surprised. If the universe has been around forever then is it logical to say that mathematical laws makes life go?
