does not make it exist. The quantised levels that you speak of are all described from Schroedinger's equations by fields, not particles. Tkae the solutions for atoms. They are composed of fields that occupy regions of space, not points in space. Likewise the region inside a microwave cavity is full of EM waves, not photons. It is incorrect to say that the region is full of point particles like photons in that space. A descerte energy spectrum does not mean that particles are involved because the spectrum comes from solutions for fields, not particles. |
