or the conclusion doesn't follow from the premise that's the non sequitur fallacy. That is, just because you can show that the text of the NT is off base in terms of the historical Jesus (even if there was no such person), has nothing to do with the general philosophical position of God's existence. The only thing one could say is that there is a relationship between the Christian view of God and the NT text. In that case it wouldn't necessarily be non sequitur.
