Mario,

I agree with what you say, but theodicy is not all there is to the 'God does not exist' argument. For example, Quentin Smith et al. have a number of philosophical arguments against God's existence that extend beyond theodicy (e.g., God as a legitimate cause to the universe, randomness in the universe, etc).
