Hi Dick,

(So this is where you guys went. Take one more look at counterbalance, Dick, there's a message for you from Kant.)

I think I am a theist, although I need help from Harv to understand the "isms", but I am by no means a purveyor of religion.

I think everyone has religious beliefs which amount to nothing more than hunches as to their personal best guesses at the answers to profound and mysterious questions.

Some people purvey their beliefs, or at least they purvey doctrinal ideas that they claim to be their beliefs. There is a lot of doubt in my mind about whether the purveyors really believe what they preach, and there is a lot of suspicion in my mind about their motives.

As for proof, I don't think any belief can be proved, religious or scientific.

Warm regards,

Paul
