So, no ANY sign of life (no EEG, no heart beat, no nothing) and when IRREVERSABLE damage have been made.

{Say, you can freeze yourself and then unfreeze - this does not itself results in death yet - slowing of chemical reactions with temperature as exp(-E/kT) governs is not a death. Incects, fish and small animal do it all the time - you can keep them in freezer indefinitely and then bring from hybernation back to active life.}

Current science can repair more and more damages and thus move borders of irreversability futher and more "into death".
