Just for starters:

Mormons believe in resurrection, not reincarnation.

If so, where did each persons personality come from?

Much of our personality is not genetic, but is due to the personality of our spirits (what we were like before being born).

It seems to me that if we have prior life and afterlife, with physical life in between, then the step to reincarnation is not very large.

I am intrigued by the CLD view. Do you have an on-line reference?
